A 45-year-old man from Sonipat consumed poison to end his life on October 4. His condition worsened and thereafter, his relatives admitted him to Khanpur Woman’s Medical College Hospital in a critical state. The man later died while the treatment was going on.
The deceased man’s son has accused his mother and her paramour of forcing his father to take this extreme step. He has alleged that his father learnt about his mother’s affair and was rendered helpless at the thought of loss of respect and dignity in society.
However, the son has also alleged that his father only consumed poison after his mother refused to listen to the deceased. The paramour was woman’s nephew.
According to the investigation, the paramour is a relative of the woman and despite being aware of the same, she willingly got into a relationship with the young man.
Her lover on the other end is also married, however, as reported by Dainik Bhaskar, his wife and him did not live together. Shri Bhagwan, Police Station Incharge, Mohana said that a case has been filed and an investigation is on.
In another story, Mohamed Sajeer alias Deepu (32) of Thennoor near Palode had allegedly died by suicide on February 7 last year by strangling himself. He had alleged his wife Shibina (29) of Anachal, and her paramour Gokul (28) of Konni, forced him to end his life.
Gokul was Sajeer’s relative, and later the husband found out about the illicit relationship between him and his
wife. After confronting the woman, she chose Gokul. The next day, Sajeer was found hanging from a tree near his house.
The arrest was recorded by Palode station house officer K B Manoj Kumar. The accused were presented before court and taken into judicial custody.
