A shocking case has been reported from Jaipur, Rajasthan, where a 36-year-old yoga teacher allegedly chopped off her 28-year-old boyfriend’s private part with a knife. The young man was unconscious at the time of the incident. However, when he regained his consciousness, he discovered the bed covered in blood.
The accused left him and fled, but when he called her, she said sorry and took him to the hospital. The man was admitted in a critical condition.
Attempt To Murder Case Registered
After the case came to light, Bhakrota police have registered a case of attempt to murder against the accused woman, however, the motive seems unclear.
The victim remained hospitalized for two days and has been discharged after surgery. The young man was given something to eat that made him unconsciousness. This act of his girlfriend has now made him impotent.
Police Investigation
Police started investigating the case but stated on Sunday, that the matter is far from being crystal clear, reported TOI.
Police are also probing if the man himself chopped off his genitals. They are also interrogating the woman whom the man has accused.
On Sunday, police called the woman for questioning and the man for his statements. Richa Tomar, deputy commissioner of police (West) said,
The circumstantial evidences is such that we can’t directly say that the woman is responsible for the act. After the man realized his private part was chopped off, the woman accompanied him to the hospital and started his medication. Also, no trespass in the house where the incident took place was found.
Police have so far taken the call detail records of the woman and the man to know their location and movement especially for the period when the accused has claimed the incident took place. Tomar added,
It is still a very confusing case for us. We have to be double sure after which we will conclude the investigation.
